Many moons ago I took my chinese tokarev to the range and they had a little bit of kevlar there. Lots of marks in it with what made the mark written next to it. All the usuals, 38sp, 357, 45 ACP and so on. We hung it up and fired ... didn't move ... had another go .. didn't move. Safed everything and went for a look .. 2 neat holes. I believe it was showed to everyone so they would remember that the 'bulletproof' vests were not even bullet proof to a $250 pistol. I used to think the vests were for peace of mind rather than any actual use.
Like a lot of my firearms, last seen being bent by the government.
