Scams
E-Bay tends to have some scams going on it also. Usually you get WHAT LOOKS LIKE a notice from PAYPAL saying something like "We notice that your account has been charged $489.95 for Widgets by ABSCAM of Hicksville, North Carolina. If you did not incur this amount, click on the link below to dispute this."
Yeah, Right!! And give lots of personal information so that they can really clean me out!

I have a card with the lowest amount that is allowable to use for internet sales ONLY. I was scammed once from the USA and it was with a card I had not even received yet. I needed a pin/chip card for Europe and it was scammed before I even got it, however the amount they tried to charge, after the initial $3.00 charge was over the limit of the card, so it just closed down. Get a special card for internet sales and phone the company when you make a sale and tell them it was you who ordered the "genuine rolex" for $29.95. When you are over the limit on a purchase, call and tell them to bump the limit for this one sale. I've been doing this for 10 to 15 years and it works, but you have to make the effort to call the credit card company. As they used to say on Hill Street Blues..."Take care out there" How's that for dating myself!!!!!!
