Certainly, post photos of yours! I don't see many of the 91's, and would like to see your "proven" rifle!
I do plan on getting a proper sling and eventually bayo with the rifle. I would like to make it "complete".
I have a nephew who is interested in MN's since he saw them in a video game! So whatever ties the youngsters into gun collecting... we are probably going to shoot this rifle in the next few months.

With a 1897 receiver it is a antique, beautiful rifle and very interesting. Way to go!

The pic's of the stampings and marks under the woodline made me drool. It is the thing I like the most about these old rifles and adds so much to their character(IMO) I have never seen one with so many stampings.
