very nice set , i think you did well , i like the fact that the scabbord/sheath is in such nice condition with the care tag , i think that a big pluss
mine is thick peened as yours but well worn [got it from my FIL ] it came in the USN gray FG scabbord ,

I think its original to the scabbard. Have you ever seen a care card for sale? The knife is nicer than the pics
As a matter of fact I have seen the care cards for sale. Around 1990 or 91. The same time as the 1944 stamped sling tag was going around.Quote:
