Nope. Look again. The 1918 was select fire and never had the low rate parts in it's butt. This is why the buffer tube in the 1918 is about an inch shorter than the A2s . On the lead gun you can see the buttplate with the hindged fold up plate , an A2 stock , not a 1918 stock which used the 1917 rifle buttplate. Usually they unscrewed the flashhider , removed the bipod , and reinstalled the flashhider. This man removed the flashhider and bipod and left them off. The front sight cover is a U-shaped hood that slides over the sight block from the front with a ring under the front edge that goes around the barrel . The spring washer / spacer slides on in front and the rear of the flashhider holds them in place along with the rear of the bipod head which is riding around the rear half of the flashhider . With both the flashhider and bipod removed , there is nothing to hold the washer and sight hood on , so they have to go , too.
