IIRC, this came out of "The Barn Wood" -- but once removed. Numrich bought several thousand stocks from the original trove and I went through every one in a barn on George Numrich's property, piled 15' high in a monster jumble. They let me go through them because I promised to stack them neatly on pallets. The temperature in there was about 105 and it took me two weekends. I found NO no-traps, but bought this one and 5 or 6 decent WWII cartouches. A week later they sold the whole lot to Honduras. I didn't know they had already been picked over until Rick B wrote the Barn story for the GCA Journal 20 years later :(

They are identical. Roberts is on a angle and makes it look a slight bit off and a hair larger but they have the same letters. Rick B

If these both came from the Barn wood then Gibbs came back during WWII ??? I am wondering if all stocks Numrich bought got mixed together and these were from the late 40's. If not it may be proof that stocks were still being bought in lots after WWII which I always figured as the business was still going for Mortumoth. Rick B

Rick, I got my post WW2 SA SPG stock about five years before the barnwood. Never found any SA NFR or SA SHM in the barnwood stocks
