next time please post link.I searched for an hour trying to find it.Sometimes not all matches to your search come up.
I would have considered it at $3000.00 even if it was suspect.
last one I seen in canada went for over $13000.00

I second Superbee. I looked using every combination I could think of and couldn't find it. If the link had been posted there might have been a little more action.
I'm afraid I disagree with the two of you on this, I am a believer that links to ongoing auctions should not be posted until the auction is over. I spend a lot of time searching auction sites for rifles and have been fortunate enough to get some deals. If I or another person post an ongoing auction that I am bidding on, it could cost me more money or even the rifle.
Just my two cents as a buyer!!
I'm with TLVaughn on this. if I was at a point with some money to spare and had spent the time and effort searching websites and going the extra bit to find something special, then it's the extra work that might just pay off with a rare find. this interweb thingy makes things like that harder to come by as it is so posting about active auctions I dont think is on.
No arguement from me. But I tend to stay "hands on" Almost never buy anything on the auction sites! What's really annoying is retailers who leave an internet sale item on the shelf (with a "buy here and now" price on a tag)and won't sell it in-store unless the auction fails. Thats just taunting.
Here's mine too, close serial
and ,
mine, no 75a, was rescued and restored, from a sporterized rifle found in los angeles 2006, however it did have the striker knob and a sm 41 front sight ears, so the shot of the types of serial number stamps is interesting as in the type of striker knobs. The mag cut off and the rear sight are not no6 types.
The flip sight shown on the auction, won't flip, its too low.
Actually, given the history, this one shot gives credence to all sorts of things, that the 6's did have several items that were just at hand in boxes and plonked on , like these knobs. If mine is correct, 75a, where did the other come from? Is it also known as a proper no6 type?
gotta be carefull here , its a mkVI - not a no 6 , two entirely different rifles both equally rare to most collectors ,
i have to admit to 'wanting' one but not for those $ unless 100% correct
