I have an Eddystone '17 that has an unmarked barrel with four grooves, right hand twist. I assume it is a JA barrel. It's a little smaller diameter behind the front sight than my original Remington.

JA barrels are 2 groove, RIA barrels i belive are 4 groove
Its possible its an HS
It's got me puzzled. It's unmarked, smaller diameter and has a flat muzzle. It's got a great bore and shoots good with cast bullets. Another of life's mysteries.

may be an aftermarket barrel
Yeah, ChuckinDenver,
I thought of that, too. Seems strange to not have any markings on it but as long as it shoots good, I'm pleased with it.
