Need some information on this rifle

If it shoots well, then it's a cheap foul weather deer rifle and that's about it. Collector value nil at this point, unfortunately.

It is slightly over 1 and 1/2 from the front of the sight base to the muzzle.

You should not have to suffer such an eysore, you can just send it to me, I will take it off of you hands. I live alife of selfless service, providing a home to any ugly, bubba'd, sported battle rifles.

While "Bubba" did have his way with it, in the end, all is not lost. It may be an excellent "beat around" for hunting. Don't give up on it, see how it shoots. At least you have a usable sling, they are getting hard to find and expensive when found. As a freebie, it is good.
