Now deactivated unfortunately, but it was sold by an auction house as an unregistered prohib, so it's options were pretty few.

We're the EX1 guns metric? I'll have to look but I think that mag has some Hebrew on the baseplate.

The L1A1 shot better than the 1A1, and I've not fired the C1 yet.

The EX1 were supposedly standard FN commercial production rifles of the day, so I would assume they were metric. The little tab to retain the mag into the gun is different...the variations to the mags are shown in the early North American FAL story. I don't think they have any manufacturer markings on them.Quote:

I would like a new buttstock for the EX1 as well. This one has been repaired. It may well be std commercial FN production, I will have to keep my eyes open to see the difference.
I am in Afghan these days. I see lots of different firearms, from AKs to M14s, and of course many M16 variations. I have not seen one FN however.
