Well, sorry but your guess is wrong. Got the Mitutoyu Micrometer out and it is NOT a 30-06. The person I bought it from was a very advanced collector and the reason I never questioned what it was. Not even close to a 30-06.Quote:

Without further ado.....I do know it's a 7.92, but in my haste to answer and type, I put .30-06. I was surprised by Green's answer so long after mine. It wasn't until your post last night that I realized my error and I did post an apology.....or at least I thought I did.

Awesome collection! My collection from the 1980s & 1990s is pretty poor looking.
Can't agree yours is "pretty poor looking". I think you have some very interesting examples and bet you have many I don't have. I was fortunate to start at a time when there were still examples of old ammo that were available at reasonable prices. I respect everyone who puts together a collection of anything they are interested in. Good you are doing this, keep collecting as it is addictive, well was in my case.Quote:
