And I just picked up a really long 10 round Magazine off ebay for way to much money! LOL
The stock looks like a field revision to accomodate the M2 parts kit, possibly done at Battalion level or similar. You can tell by the remains of the bridge left in place. The factory M2 stock never had the bridge. Good stock for a rebuild or this project.
I heard that some of the late M1s had heavier stocks ? Then were converted to M2s? As far as what I'm putting together, it will obviously be a mix master as I'm actually trying to get as many of the different manufactures parts as I can. :)
