well if you are still interested then I believe that we can make the deal. I have what was originality a german k98 that, based on the prefix J in the serial number, was either made in Austria or Czechoslovakia.

The bayo pictured was designed to fit all of Yugoslavia's post war Mauser rifles. It will work on a 24/52C (Yugoslav refurbed Czech vz24) but should have a Yugoslav cleaning rod. The Czech rod diameter is just enough larger to bind in some bayos.

but will the bayonet pictured still fit on my k98?

I just put it on my K98 to verify, fits perfectly. This is not a K98 bayonet however, it is a Yugo bayonet and should be proper for any Yugo reworked rifle.

K98 bayonets do not have a muzzle ring.
