No the powder was dry, I believe the primer did not fire, and I am guessing when I retracted the bolt the case spun but the bullet didn't effectively pulling the bullet from the case. That's a guess as I am no expert. I am taking the rifle out again this morning, with same ammo, hopefully it was just a rare bad round.
Agree - sounds like a bad primer. You may wish to talk to Privi before shooting the rest of it. They may want to inspect the unfired rounds. Hopefully they will replace your product:thup:
Save the brass Privi is good stuff to reload with.....
Just got back from the range. I put the rest of what i had, about 100 rounds, through the 03 and M1. Not one incident. All rounds went off and made good groups from both rifles. I did save the brass. So i am going to chalk it up to just one bad apple in the bushel. I am going to contact privi though and let them know this happened. Thanks for all your responses
