Nice rifle, hope your going to shoot it ? I shoot all mine (.22 Enfields) athough limited on two of them as they are now "part of a collection", my Mk1V gets a run out all the time for a winter postal leauge. As for price I wouldnt hesitate for what you paid, good examples are becoming hard to find.

Every gun shop I have ever been to has SMLEs for sale and there's always tables full of them at the gun shows. Plenty of people are selling, they just want unreasonable prices for them IMHO.Quote:

Yes, I intend to shoot it. I also have a No2 MkIV, so I have a couple of trainers to choose from now. I intend to keep adding trainers as they turn up though.Quote:
