You can tell the guy in the first picture is well to do, he has a pair of trousers (even if un-pressed Mike) the other rabble don't have a pair between them ..
Though with Ishy SMLE and 1A1, stirling and Sten, who needs slacks!
Is that a UK L1A1? It looks like it's a later triple fluted flash eliminator too. Looks short but is that the photo angle

I see what you mean about the FE Peter, looks to be three slot, (I think Ishapore did a three slot too) but that's certainly the rounded wooden 1A1 Hand guard profile. The SMLE nose cap however has the typical Australian ears cut out slots, wonder if its a Lithgow?Quote:
