I had an almost identical one in the 1,240,000 range, I believe the barrel was so pristine a muzzle gauge wouldn't even FIT inside! Everything was pristine EXCEPT the bolt, just like yours. The J5 bolt will make nice trade bait!
Still regret selling the 1,240,000 range - needed the money for something!! :(
They do sound oddly similar! The bore is immaculate, and the entire rifle looks handled but not "used", with the exception of the bolt. The story was typical for our time - the original owner died and his son took possession of his guns, and his wife didn't want them in the house... $900 out the door.
