Both the 1941 Lithgows MkIIIs i owned had MA'41 marked cutoffs fitted

thank you for the images. So they do exist, now to find one for sale.

Just had a dig around and found a MA38 in my bits and pieces. Don't know common that year is.

I've got at least 1 MA38 dated one. I'll have to have a look at what other dates I have.
