I've been using mostly RCBS since 1980...
The RCBS balance scales I looked at in the shop were $329/AU the Hornady's were $150/AU a bit Grinchy yes but I do value my nether regions if the cook came back from her NZ holiday and found I had spent 300+ smakers on scales crikey I would be placed on a slow boat to China........

I gave the throwers away and now use the Hornady Lock and Load, you are right about getting the settings right. I emailed Hornady and a very nice person replied with the instructions that aren't in the Instructions that came with it to refine the settings, now it's dial up the weight and away it goes with either Australian Stick powder or the Winchester Ball, best money I ever spent.

Jim, thats the way it is here now on this side of Aus as I have stated before it all goes to the Eastern seaboard side of Aus then is either trucked over or put on a plane a considerable distance maybe 3000 + KLM's with import cartage thats what it costs.
I have a 4 kilo AR 2206H container I have had for a while it was $285 when I brought it I purchased another 4 kilos towards the end of last year $400/AU now. :dunno:
Holy f*ck...that Tiger 88 would have cost about $1Mil for shipping across to you. The Mrs would have split the atom...(but you'd have had an 88). I had no idea things were that bad.Quote:
