Interesting to read wikipedia about D445, presumably from 'the other side....'. Not that I ever had any contact with then except a passing interest - and fear! Our intelligence Offr. and that put out to the new battalions and arrivals always emphasised that while they were the foe, once the new rotating battalion had got its feet firmly on the ground and well established with the other battalions and support arms, D445 were kept firmly under control. He would say that though, wouldn't he? But the stats seemed to show that too.......
