Airsofters spring to mind and the weapons don't tally........

Fell off my chair laughing:lol::lol:
It was bad enough wearing the mask protective and suit with hood, then the steel helmet on top of that. All this done in the heat of the Prairies...in summer. I mean I don't recall having any little issues... I recall all of it with clarity.
Don't you think that this this whole story sounds like a gag or fake news, as has already been suggested by Vincent? I would buy the idea of a high tech/spec helmet but a full face shield that's bullet proof that also does a multitude of other things? For starters, just think of the thickness of the material that would be needed if it was to be bullet proof?
You're right.

Might be a good psyops piece or slightly improve kinetic energy weapons (unsure about energy pulses)- The problem remains manifold- peripheral vision and hearing acuity impaired (yes guns are loud but you have to also hear the soft sounds), fire resistance yes but not oxygen generating so while useful in a flash situation, enduring fire will remove oxygen while superheating the remaining aspirable gases, and even if it 'repels' 7.62x39, where does the energy go after impact? Does not reduce TBI.
Good paintball toy though.
Watching the video above without sound, it looked to me that he had trouble establishing a 'cheek weld' on the stock and trouble acquiring a proper sight picture. Personally, I hated the helmets we had back in the day and I can't say I'm impressed by this one.
The press see someone within 100 yards of Hereford wearing something Military and different.....next minute its fact and the SAS are using it, absolutely right and the reason for posting it.
