I did a couple of go's in CA, (four I think) never experienced the rain though. I was out in Pendleton around the FIBUA site for a while, lots of cactus and dry gulch there. Spent my nights sleeping with lizards and snakes... Better you than me brother... Top pic are some HARD CORE mf's though...
Ha, ha, ha! The guy on the left was a reservist who went back to his Reserve unit after AIT and the two guys on the right went to jump school with me then volunteered to be parachute riggers. Nothing against what they did because my son was a rigger at Ft. Bragg for 4 years and the became a Civil Affairs Reservist when he got out. The HARD CORE (CORP) term just amused me.
