Here's some pics, I decided to go over there today instead. Arizona looks like it has it slightly dried out, but otherwise I think it looks fantastic?

Looks good from one end to the other. Leather looks tight, starburst looks good...crossguard straight...edge and point good and undamaged. Yes, I'd pay $125...makes it about $152 CDN which is about all I'd pay here. I just don't pay big bucks for that stuff, save that for the serious collectors.
Perhaps you could use this as grounds for offering a little less than the asking price. For something like this I would break the ice with a phrase like "is there any room for manoeuvre on the price?" and see what reaction you get, before you get into offering an actual figure. If it's been there a while and the lady really wants to sell it, there's a good chance that she will listen to sensible offers.
Of course the leather will need a drink...
I have a similar looking bayonet to this, which I picked up at a car boot sale years ago for £2, that states on it that it was made in Japan. Did Japan make them for the U.S. army under contract, I wonder, or did they make them under licence for their own post war army/self defence force?
Put pm me with the seller, I'll buy it is a heart beat. This could be a ,Would of, should of, could cb.

He suggests that if you don't have it already, he'll take it now.
Might be a bit over priced with the wrong scabbard. I put a Case and Utica both in no wire M-8 scabbards on ebay. They only bid up to $150 each.
