The photo of me on the bike is from Classic Bike magazine, who came to Paris to test the Martin and the 900SS special. They did a nice review of the two bikes.

Two years ago, while the family was in Metaponto (Ionian Sea), I was working.
Suddenly free from customers, I jumped on my bike on a Friday evening and rode down to them all on mountain roads through the Appennines.
One night there and back, again through mountain roads only.
2600 km, 46 hours drive, less than 60 km/h average speed.
Wonderful, cathartic trip.
Through history and wonderful nature.
This was my first stop between Bologna and Florence.
