All I did with all my 303's apart from the 1921 Lithgow (Which is a safe queen) is carefully and I stress carefully polish the flat & tip of the sear then the same to the "nose" of the cocking piece then the nodes on the trigger as well as polish the retaining pins for the trigger & sear this is done with a small hand held super el' cheapo dremel (as I am really cheap) from Bunnings that stops cold when any type of pressure is put on it took a while to do them, no angles were changed or hard facing, I now have buttery smooth 1st pull & let off.

Well you're more cultured than me Ron. At least you call the two little bumps on the trigger 'nodes'; I call them ''tXXs'! Mind you, I was dragged up.........:p
-
Without niXXles ''tXXs' would be pointless.
-
Ahahaha that's a laugh.
And cheers Cinders, I have a little rotary tool/mini drill I polish things with, so I can do that easy.

I was trying to be politically correct as not wanting to state the obvious other than saying nixxles.
Nodes just sprang to mind..........:p
