ok here we go again. had to change phones awhile ago and this one suks for pic quality but.......
the first number on the reciever is a 3. kinda hard to see. all pics of parts are on the FG

They're both typical 'shooter' mix masters. That's not a bad thing. The middle picture in post #16 shows the stock to be a CMP repro. Not a bad thing either. That stamp is not military. And they do say they will use new wood stocks.

right. no doubt its a CMP. but i bought an old one i am refinishing and it has a P in a circle on the handgrip. whats that mean?
also whats the consensus on the marlin bbl? i read a lot of diff. stuff on it such as if it is after 1950? its a good accurate one and that they made a very limited number of em. anything else? thanks
also #2....on the pics i tried to make the serial #s visible. any opinions on who made em and when etc etc
