For wartime 91/30's there are certainly pressure test proof marks but they are small circled letters.

Good luck with the photo's. Do you think, accepting it being the Soviet Union, it might not turn out to be a hammer & sickle? Sickles have a long curved blade, rather reminiscent of a crescent moon......
