Perhaps someone could just post the page of dates for date stampings or maybe by month?
Something like this maybe helpful:
Jan 44 5,XXX,XXX to 5,XXX,XXX
Feb 44 5,XXX,XXX to 5,XXX,XXX

Lots of people want a closer interpretation where one is available and Winchester is a maker you can get closer on, but yes as stated previously, the date given is not at all the date of assembly.
Thank you Very Much USGI ... greatly appreciated!
I have a win-13 Garand that was produced in the week of 20 April 1945, were WRA carbines still be made then and if so what would the serial range be? Hopefully, if still in production it’s not in an M2 range as I would like to look for an example to create a set.
@cpc, Winchester Carbine production ended in August 1945. According to Ruth & Duff's Carbine owners guide the Approximate Serial number range produced during April, May and June 1945 was 6491000-6596000
Oh OK firstflabn, "All listed serial numbers should be considered to be approximations and are not exact" although I kinda figured the word Approximate would have made that clear.
@cpc, Here is some info that is more exact, On 20 April 1945 the following serial numbers were applied to Winchester Receivers 6578421-6579800, note that this is when the serial# was applied to the receiver not when the carbine was complete.
