I have no A1515 which is in perfect condition as well and only 3 away in number as well but it’s not a sniper

That’s a rarity in itself! To my understanding, far more of the Trials rifles were converted than not. Very cool!

Does it have a light alloy buttplate and a sling swivel on the guard?

That and the backsight clearance milled out for the plunger as per production No4's are the hallmarks of the Model C trials.

I had one at one time, A1959 IIRC.

I own A1424 with scope 3193 on the wrist, and A0733 with scope 3288 on the wrist.

Interestingly, I also own an early Savage 4t OC1862 with an earlier scope 1766 on the wrist.

Now that is interesting, as it suggest some Savage rifles were converted at Enfield.

Mine's been fitted with a few new parts and furniture, but the pads look good.

I've had it for five or six years, and still haven't looked for a magazine. Can't tell you why!
