I think he has been occupied with his appeal, which is quite understandable.
Going back to the question, I really can't think of anyone repairing No32 scopes commercially in the UK since Peter stopped. I mentioned it to Robert at Fultons a few months ago & he hadn't managed to find a replacement, although he might have done in the meantime.

There used to be another guy on the south coast, Action Optics that used to do rifle scope servicing as well, but, IIRC he retired about 18 months ago, and isn't taking on new work.
I suspect that is the problem here in the UK, with such optical equipment no longer being manufactured in the UK, their is no younger generations coming through with the skill sets to undertake such work, and once those that do know have hung up their tools for good, that will be it, which may now be where we have got to here in the UK.
I have to say, during first lockdown last year while having no job, I did start to think about at what point I make the decision to sell my mint 4T because of its value as is, rather than risking it value by continued use, and there being no skills left to fix/repair it should something happen while shooting it (especially with regards to the scope)
Roger, which German scope (manufacturer and model) and what is the issue?
I've forgotten the precise details Promo, but I'll ask the owner again & get back to you. He is well known in the UK shooting/collecting world though now lives in the Limousin in France.:thup:
