The bracket thumb screws are mine, but only of the type I sold with the last batch of brackets - the edges are a little thicker than the previous types as they were made by a different manufacturing technique. I would have preferred them as before, as they were exactly as per the originals, but there wasn't an option at an acceptable price.
The '1980 late conversion L42' in the link is another 'interesting' one.........but perhaps keep my countenance.

I bought a nice honest L42A1 last week, & thought I had paid a little over the odds for it once I realised what of the CES was & was not included.........but in view of the content of this thread I'm feeling somewhat happier already!
