How long did Inland continue with the circle P proof on the buttstock? My I cut has one but I thought that they were dropped at some point. This carbine displays the method of staking that was REALLY used on the flip sight. My NPM has stake marks that are almost faint by comparison. These were obviously put there to stay. What a great find. I hope my incoming 5.4 is close.
Charlie/Frank; the white coloring on this carbine finish (before cleanup) is what? just a blush of the linseed oil from age? I assume a good rubdown with the palm and some BLO would take this up?
