no.4 era cartridge belts?

I hope its alright to post the direct link but IMA USA sells a reproduction for cheaper then the originals are going for:

British P-1903 Leather Five Pocket Bandoleer - International Military Antiques

And the Boer War style:

British Victorian Cavalry .303cal Bandoleer - International Military Antiques

Dmitre, that IMI banoleer´s a b*gger. Friend ordered one and it had to be re-sewn (at great expense) so that the rounds fit. Must have been made somewhere in China.

Interesting thats the 2nd time I have been told something is wrong with IMA, I guess I wont recommend their reproductions again. :)

You are correct, they are the standard cloth bandoliers issued to and used by all British and Commonwealth troops during the No.4 era. True, some leather bandoliers may have been used on occasion in WW2, maybe some rare South African cavalry units at home in SA, but they did not see combat use during WW2 or the remainder of "the No.4 era.".

I have in my collection a five pocket leather bandolier marked U Broad Arrow (South Africa) and dated 1942.
