If it was mine, I wouldn't take less than $150 for it.
If it were here in the Southeast at a regular gunshow or militaria show, it would price between $95 and $125, and sell for $5 to $10 less at the end of the day. On the other hand, if it were offered for sale at a premier militaria show like the one at Baltimore, it might be priced closer to $150, and sell at $10-15 less.
i must agree after seeing the photos , that is a very nice one , and well worth the higher dollars the others sugest here , and thats a very nice scabord as well .
often when someone mentions 'sharpened' the blade looks quite diferant than that one does ........

Has anyone mentioned that this is a model M1 bayonet, not a M1905?
I have a 10 in.bayonet ,AFH , bomb,US.onthe other side of the blade it these
numbers,5504139,the ring mesure 7/8 in.where the others mesure 5/8 in.The bayonet is exllent shape.What does it fit?

I paid $140 CDN for a similar bayonet from a dealer here in Canada. I'd say the finish on mine is better although its hard to compare the real thing to a photo on a computer.Quote:

dick , im not certain what your specific bayonet was modified to fit , but the M1 bayonet was intended for the M1 rifle and it will fit the M1903/03A3 rifles and actualy it will fit on a krag as the locking mechanism wasnt changed from 1892 to these
garandy , the finish on some in the 'very nice' condition are rearsenaled or refinished , to some of us the original in the condition of yours would be preferable to those pristeen versions ,
i have an M1905 with 1920 date that is damn near perfect , but i know its been reasenaled and stored , that is why i bought it , an example of just that ,
its the top one here - my others are worn from service
