Hi folks,
This web site is the kind of place I enjoy visiting. I'm a long time firearms lover and more of an accumulater than a dedicated collector. Years ago when I first got interested in firearms my main interest was the German P-08 and all its variations. My collection grew steadily for many years while I was stationed in Europe but eventually became too expensive to continue. I now dabble in U.S. and foreign military firearms and whatever else strikes my fancy.

I'm a new member, specialising in shooting and instruments, esp prismatic compasses and general purpose telescopes. I shoot a Mk.III .577 Snider and an SMLE Mk.III* from 1917 in .303. I've been doing this for about 12 years now.

Hi from a new member. I own a Remington 1903a3 Springfield that I kind of messed up when I was a teen ager. I had a redfield front and rear sight installed. this meant that athe barrel was cut of where the front sight was. I would like to restorthis rifle to its orginal condition. Is this possible? I am 60 yrs old and Retired from the Navy.
had a good collection going 45 yrs ago. had to get rid of just about everything.now i am starting again.(have the time but not the money)
trying to get military bolt actions,have a couple right now.
