I have just become aquainted with the older military arms but have always used the more modern military weapons.

i think there are no missing parts. instructions are great, over the winter,

Hi I don't see how I missed being on this forum as I am on a lot of other forums. I have been collecting and working on milsurps for about 30 years and I see that there is a lot to learn on this forum.
As you can see by my name, I do like Mausers. :D

I just got my M1 Carbine today and I'm looking forward to the information this form can provide.
It's an Inland and it was built in March 1945. I'ts needs a good cleaning I'll start that tomorrow. I have 6 parts already identifyed as Inland and as I do the field strip, I'm sure I'll find more to come.
I'll post my findings as soon as I can for all to comment.
