Hi everyone.

By way of introduction, I have been collecting Milsurps for a little over a year.

My main areas of interest are US, Swiss and Mauser milsurps.

My son and I shoot in a military silhouette match every month. the rules call for the use of a dead stock military rifle (stock triggers, sights, barrels and stocks) and involve shooting chicken silhouettes @ 200 meters, pigs @ 300 meters, turkeys @ 385 meters and rams @ 500 meters. Shooting is done from the prone and a front bag rest, no machine rest, and no rear rest can be used. We usually use either K31's or Swiss 1911 series rifles when we shoot this match.

Hello fellow enthusiasts. I'm a disabled Veteran now, living a quiet life on our family farm.I enjoy the history that accompanies the men,and the arms required by them in resolving world conflicts which have kept our nations free. I have hunted in the hills of Kentucky since I was very young. I'm a former Combat Engineer, I no longer hunt. I do practice my marksmenship with a variety of weapons,(safely) while enjoying and respecting, feeding and caring for the wide variety of wildlife on our farm. OK got it.
Have an interest in old guns. Martini-Henry, Snider, Enfield and old double barrell hammer guns. Collect only. Do all my shooting with a camera.

Hope u enjoyed yout trip.Just started collecting also.Use a Canon Rebel EOS,shoot mostly B&W. U will fit in with this bunch:technical, tactical,irrassible! WELCOME

Hello all. I found this forum from a posting on another forum reference Mosin Snipers. I have a wide collection of military and other rifles and pistols and look forward to what I can learn from all of you.

Saw the link on CGN and came over for a look (same name at CGN). Great site, lots of interesting stuff. I have not had a chance to check out all of it yet but give me time.

I just discovered this forum. I have recently started purchasing milsurp firearms. So far I have a M44 and 91/30 Mosins and a Yugo SKS. Always looking for info to rebuild and improve the old war horses.
Live in southern NM and can walk uphill of the house to shoot.
