Hi folks:
I am an American marooned in England. Started collecting in the good ole 50's when mil surplus weapons were so cheap it would make your eyes water today. Collected Jap, German, Polish, Russian. Brit and Italian rifles and machine guns. Because of laws over here all I can now shoot is my WW 1 Mausers and .22 rifles. Still have nice 4, 6, and 8" |Lugers with folks back in U.S.A.
Trying to find a good condition Navy mag to complete the Navy rig.
My son whom lives in the states loves to hunt and fish so between us we bought a AKS-47 and a SKS, both of which I love to shoot. Seems like ammo is far to high these days. Perhaps I'm living in the past. Protect your right to own and us those surplus weapons. I know first hand just how quickly your "government" can take this privilage away.

Great Site
Hi Everyone,
I am an avid WWII collector and have been in the market for a few things and all searches led me to this web site. I am in the market for a 1941 Johnson.

Good Day Folks!
Time for an introduction, I'm John, former LEO, Army Helicopter Crew Chief, Motorcycle shop owner, and current builder of flight simulators, right here in Pittsburgh, PA.
I'm not a collector in the true sense of the word, but more of a big fan of military weaponry. Nothing is like firing a M60 from a Huey or a kind WO1 or butter bar allowing a few trigger pulls on a Cobra's 20MM. Shooting is much nicer when Uncle Sam buys the ammo.
Other than a few handguns, I have a trio of 1903’s including 2 03A3’s, a Remington and a SC.
Very cool forum here, with a lot of information at your finger tips. It would take years of research to compile what is available here.
Thank you to everyone who post and contributes here.

Hello, I am a new member. I have been collecting U.S. military weapons for over 25 years.

I have been a member for a while but never posted. Anyway I am a cruffler and will be renewing my C&R FFL soon so I'll have started on my 12-15 years period as a collector. I'm primarily interested in rifles to shoot cast bullets in. I kinda collect straight pulls, I have a Mannlicher 1886 and an 88/90 so far as exotic ones goes. I don't ever expect to be able to afford a Navy Lee nor a Mondragon but I'll get by in life as best I can. I also like broomhandles and metal in the middle French rifles like the MAS 36s and 49/56s.
Oh yes, i do have a Swiss 1911 as well as some K-31s and Mannlicher m1895s and M95/34s and one M95/24 (sadly stock was cut down!).

PS:
Forgot to mention I do have a Ross 1910 that does shoot well although it's apparently one of those that was cut down for a Canadian paramilitary usage in WWII. I have a sporter Ross 1905 and also a drill purpose 1910. I fantasize about getting the 1910 DP rebarreled to 30-40 Krag but just a dream so far although I do have 250 30-40 cases.
