Been a silent part of this site for a couple years during which time I've gotten into reloading and have gotten some decent gear (getting my NM M1A scoped now). I am a computer dummie and am finally trying to overcome it and either help others or more likely get help and sound advice from others.
Hope I got this to work...

New Member Intro
Hello Guys,
Just taking a minute to introduce myself. I am a member of the New Jersey Arms Collector Club. My collection centers around WWII Military Rifles from Germany, Japan, Russia and the US.
I am having some head spacing problems with my Type 38 Arisaka which I would like to discuss in the form.
Thanks for letting me join.

Hello All
I have just joined. I have been interested in ( primarily military) firearms for several years. I won't say just how many years just now but my first G43 was around $50.00, first Luger was $35.00........ Some of my interests include arms of Finland, Russia, and those used in the SCW, Spanish Civil War.

Hi everyone!
Relatively new to firearms, not much of a collector (yet...). Found this site while researching a Jap rifle my grandfather brought back with him from WWII. Read through a few threads, followed a few links. Found out it's a Type 38 from the Nogoya Arsenal manufactured between 1923-1933. It has a Variation A bayonet from the Tokyo Arsenal. The cool thing is, I still have the approval/release paperwork.
Thanks for the great site!

Hello All,
I just wanted to introduce myself to the list and let you know I look forward to learning quite a bit here. You fellows really seem to know your stuff. I've only been collecting for about 5 years now, but I did get my C&R. So, my gun safe is about full and my wallet is empty. My wife wants to know why I just can't collect stamps like normal people. I told her it was a "Gun Thing" and she wouldn't understand. Again, I look forward to the learning experience.

Hello all,
A quick intro from me. I am ex military Parachute Regiment and a militaria collector for 36 years.
I mainly collect Para Wings German insigna and bayonets but have been interested in weapon systems for ever....a long time (ex sniper L42)
Anyone out there who has items for sale or trade please contact me.
Found this site by accident "Argentine Marine FN" and the comments regarding British troops picking up and using Argy weapons in 82.
The answer is yes but never discarding their own SLR.
I was there and did exactly that at Goosegreen (Argy was full auto)

Greetings
Hello all. I live in Eastern Ontario and was recently given a Lee-Enfield Mark 111 ( I believe). The stock has been "sporterized" but it still retains the original brass buttplate. Now that I have found this Forum I will be doing some research as to when and where it was made, etc. I am also interested in finding out about a cleaning kit that I purchased last summer at a yard sale, specifically a peculiar tool that is part of the kit. I will be posting more information on that and some photos in the near future.
The LE is my first military rifle, but I have four military handguns.
I am retired and hope to be able to check in and participate on this Forum quite often.
Along with a lifetime interest in guns and hunting I am collector of antique radios.
