Hello;
I'm an old retired guy. I still work at my hobby, which by now, I have a fair reputation at..Artistic blacksmith..leaves, vines, animal heads etc..I also forge blades, concentrating on 1800-1840 fur trade era models.
I live in rural ,western NY State.
I have only had one milsurp (7.65 Argentine) back in the 70s but don't have it anymore.
Just recently became again interested...

Hello, everyone!
I'm a longtime collector but a very short-time forum user. My interests fall into the categories of WW I and WW II rifles, pistols, etc. For many years I plinked away on an old sporterized SMLE. Good times. Now I am looking for either an unmodified Enfield P-17 in 30.06 or an M1 carbine. Any help tracking these down would be greatly appreciated.
Please reply about this or anything. Happy to be here!

Hi Everyone,
I'm new here and would like to learn more about military weapons and things that go bang in the night! I belong to other internet gun groups as well.
Thank you for having me.

Greetings;
Fresh from CGN as well,. Total newbie to milsurp ownership but some handling history from cadet days, oh those many years ago: LE .22 trainer on the range squad and some very limited C1 exposure at camp. As well, growing up, my dad had an M1 .30 carbine that was just too much fun. Wish I had any one of those three in my possession.
Initially, looking for an SAFN-49 and have appreciated all that I've learned about them just from the threads here already. Expect more posts from me about this in the days to come.

Good Day Everyone, I used this name, M1Garand as the same name I used in CGN membership. I was introduced into firearms by my dad and continued the love of this military firearms hobby here in Canada. Looking forward to meeting fellow enthrusiasts and hopefully getting good tips about this passion. So far, I have M1 Garand, Swedish M38 and C3 clone.
