Good morning,
This is my first posting and like many of you hard core collectors, I'm looking for something. I own a beautiful Smith Corona 03A3 that I should probably leave alone, but I'm wanting to mount one of the replica M73B1 scopes to it. I have a spare 03 bolt that I'm working on to "dremel" it into a "turn down" bolt to allow room for the scope, but I was hoping to locate an 03A4 bolt already built that way. Any suggestions (besides those of you who will tell me to leave that pristine rifle the way it is)?
Now, I'm reading that the 03A4 bolt won't completely close in either the A1 or A3 receiver. Any truth to that?
Hi All
Just got my first No4 M2.:)
cant wait to get down to the range on sunday.
Hello all-I'm not that much of a collector (yet) but enjoy looking at and reading about military surplus. I'm located in Colorado and enjoy shooting sports and outdoor activities-camping and fishing mainly.
Hello , I just found this site and it looks like their is a lot of good info on here on many types of guns .I hope to learn about the many guns i have purchased in the last couple of months . I have always loved guns but I have been busy restoring my 67 camaro and have not bought anything in the last 10 yrs and now i cant stop buying and trying to learn everything I can. Thanks Bryan
I just inherited a Walther p38 9 mm 480ac sn 8494 with holster and extra magazine that was issued to Generalmajor Adrian Freihen van der Hoop and surrendered to an officer of the Devils Brigade in Narvik, Norway. Anyone have any idea of the value? The owners name and number is inside the holster and the extra magazine also has the sn of the pistol.
Greetings all.
Nice to find this site.
I have a few milsurps, and plan to read & learn a lot from the wealth of experience here.
:)
