They arrived today !!!!! :dancingbanana:
The limited "signed" edition (only 303 copies printed) presentation case version is simply beautiful. Looks like a real old world library book with gold leaf edged trim.
I also got a regular edition for that "dog eared" research we all do. The content is definitely expanded with some nice new sections on accessories and bayonets, plus production information.
Lookforward to a thorough book review from one of our members soon... ;)

Badger

Don McIntyre is an evil man! I stopped by his place last night to pick up my copy and ended up buying 2 other books as well. He just kept showing me books that I wanted and offering me good deals on them. :runaway:
Seriously, Don is a great guy and keeps a really interesting selection of titles. I would certainly recommend him to anyone.
Regarding the new Lee Enfield book, I have had about 20 minutes to look through it and it looks great. The only thing that bothers me a little is the section on the AIA Enfields. I realize they are a modern Enfield varient and deserve a place in the book, but it feels a little too much like a big "AIA is wonderful and can do no wrong" advertisement. Seems a little out of place in a reference book, but I guess until I write one myself I can't complain too much. Otherwise, a great book and very much worth the price.
