Seems like there are not as many guys on here as a year or so ago. I was out of commission for the last 8 or 9 months fighting cancer and have just started back on the net again. I seem to have won the battle for now thankfully and am so glad to be back. I always enjoyed Seth and on a serious note, learned a great deal from the fellow gun lovers on here. Sure am glad I bought a number of nice rifles early on and have a small collection of keepers. The best of the lot is probably an Inland I bought at the Camp Butner sale several years ago. Enough rambling. Good shooting and the best to all.

Ed, good to hear from you. It has been a while. Sorry to hear about your challenge, but glad to find out you are on top of it! Way to go! It is much quieter on here now, but there are other noisey places I go when I want it at a faster pace.
Hang in there!

I often wonder how Chair Born ranger is doing (SP?)
Along with Quagmire.. (JP).. Gave me lots of help on parkerizing.
Charles in Bhama and the rest of the Bhama gang. Good guys........... Outstanding collections.
Lost many to the black rifles before the election. Slowly they'll start looking in the back of their safes and hopefully pop back in.
Would love to hear from Newscotlander again........... We owe a lot to his dedication to these carbines.
Cheers,

Howdy Tired Retired. Sounds like me. I live in the country (as much country as we have left) and enjoy shooting off of my patio. Had to drop out for a few months while fighting throat cancer. Had a tumor on my right vocal cord which I think is now gone gone but took about 8 months out of my life style to kill it. Back to loading and shooting again. Found a bunch of 1942 and 1943 .45 ACP ammo in original cartons. The 1942 rounds are in the 20 round red labeled cartons and 150 rds of the 1943 rounds are in original 50 round boxes. Any idea what it might be worth? Thinking maybe $1.00 or so per round and perhaps a bit more for an unopened 20 round carton. What think you?
Thanks..
