Dave, if you get a chance shot me a scan of your data sheet. Several sources at milsurps.com agree with you that my carbine is correct with the L379. I will get those older CCNL's soon as possible. Thanks for your help. My email address is jmark350z@gmail.com.
Santa brought me an II oiler, sling, swivel and '43 magazine pouch with 3 mags for the carbine. Merry Christmas everyone!

I have been a member of the CC since 1985. I can tell you there is no better sourse of infromation M1 Carbine. I can also tell you they have came a long way and learned a lot in those years. All you need to do to find out far they have came is go back read some of those early newsletters. Nice carbine thanks for sharing. Bill
