Nice! The scale in post 18 also looks to use a bent edge that fits into the machined groove on the slide to prevent it rotating - there's that captive slot idea for the screw too. Make a jig, bend and mark a handful up....

Good thought Fremen but nothing to work to or from or on! Sure your querie is completed now according to muffer.
Would you mind posting it in here as well to spread the knowledge around.
Multiple posting across forums is one of my pet hates, if you wish to replicate it here you have my permission.
If I needed a sensation of being caught in a time warp, maybe yes, but as a fair percentage of members here also post on other forums, some even getting irate at repeating constant answers, I find it more beneficial to keep my forums uncluttered, it helps me to keep track of who said what and when.........gives me the ability to sort the serious from the foolish so to speak:lol:
Multiple forum posting is one of my pet hates too Muffer. Not that I even go onto others - unless you are into Mini Coopers..... Especially when they use your own writings as their own. Sometimes when the questioner mentions that the subject has been aired on another forum, you feel that he's just after the answer that he wants, so keeps asking. A bit like a kid at primary school or my son when he was younger! In fact he's still at it now he's older especially when it comes to money. But alas, not when it comes to advice!
Some members of this forum - no names, no pack drill - have already commented that some 'multi forum' members with a modicum of knowledge on this forum are suddenly 'experts' on other forums, using whole sentences taken word for word from within these pages. I could go on but I'll stop..........
