I reckon I would be looking at a grand postage by surface mail minimum plus what ever the complete shell cost it would be a nasty situation on the home front for some months but hopefully my wife would let me back into the house by next winter the sheds bare as.....?
It is so very dis-heatening to see stuff over east that they can have but here we are hammered into dust then tied up with wire at times I have thought about giving the whole lot a miss guns and all because it just costs so much to license them and maintain you FFL under the constant threat of the police rocking up and asking to check your cabinets & storage arrangements.
Our law is such that my wife a dual license holder for all but 1 of my guns cannot have access to the safe the gun is in nor can I have that gun where our mixed guns are ones on both of our licenses that and bolts separate as well as ammo it just goes on and on I would love a Barrett in 416 Chey Tac caliber and a Garand but may as well try buying the moon.
What happened to us after Port Arthur was a knee jerk reaction to an isolated situation a very sad day for Australia and I am sorry for the losses but what went down orchestrated by some was wrong and unconstitutional for legal law abiding firearms owners of Australia we were the ones that also suffered through no fault of our own. Now they are on about the Adler L/A 12 gauge shotty good grief? (Sorry Badger I get pretty wound up about certain things and this is one of them)
