Can you measure width at top. See your front base is marked "20" on the back face which confirms to me that these are early steel Parker Hales. Once I see your info I'll check against some of mine and advise you on ring selection. Ron.
The top is as large as the one at the rear, 16.5mm, so it might be a 17mm dovetail.
Same as mine. You need RBLS (low mounts) or RBHS (high mounts) depending on your scope ocular dimension. The designation will be followed by ".3" for 1" tubes and ".4" for 26mm. Hope this all helps. Ron (Canada).
Hello Ron, many thanks for the proper identification! I honestly have no idea which scope originally belongs to it and guess I'd rather follow the scope rings to pick the scope than to try and find the proper rings for my scope and rifle. You don't happen to have either of the two mentioned fitting scope rings which you'd part with, for money or in a trade?
Promo,
These two pages may help you in relation to rings from the PH archive. Page 2 showing abbreviations and prefixs used by PH on development.
That sounds and looks like the nightmare for production and storage, what an amazing amount of different variants! Thanks for the picture, that is definately a reference file worth to be saved.
Yes hopefully others will now keep a copy as this one is the only one in the Parker Hale archive.
I had the same idea and scanned the list from catalog #67 into the Parker-Hale sub-board.
Promo,
The rings you will need for what you have there are the RWS SPORTSMATCH, they are for the CZ 527 but they will fit the dovetail you have perfectly, believe them to be 1" and 30mm. You have probably deduced that already?
