86.6 against. Surprised they still have it up.
Probably haven't got the word out to acorn:rolleyes:
I live in South Florida and read the Sun-Sentinel (or Sun-Slantinel as it's often called locally). It's generally a very left of center publication editorially, and so far left it's off the scale when it comes to anything relating to guns (along with the Palm Beach Post and Orlando Sentinel). The poll results are as astounding to me in their magnitude as in the result. The total number of votes (over 350,000) is WAY more than their daily circulation and probably 10x, or more, the level of participation most of their polls receive. I attribute part of that to us Floridians who are sick and tired of these local rags continually spouting their anti-gun agenda, but mostly to blogs and boards such as this that get the word out on these polls and generate considerable response. It may not change any opinions on the editorial board, but it does bode well for our ability to use the internet to quickly marshal resources to blunt what I fear will be a never ending stream of attacks on our rights with the current administration and their press minions. We need to continue to make our views known and use all available tools to do it quickly and in numbers. JMHO.
