Opinion on drill rifle rebuild.

Decided to clean up the Springfield receiver despite still needing most every other part for the project.

I'm hoping to be able to re-blue this one, so I ground out the deactivation weld & replaced new metal. Then went at it with my overgrown collection of hand files. There are a couple spots that I'm not particularly happy with that could use a bit more metal. But I'm leaving it for now. Put some oxpho blue on the bare metal to see how it'd come out. Could be better in my opinion.

Looks better than it did for sure...
