Latest find. WW2 British EAC Mk.III compass which is in pretty good shape for 102 yrs. old.
We still used those for locating mortars accurately when I took advanced mortars course...my brother used them in Arty too. They're not so long out of service...Quote:

I also picked up a 60mm bazooka rocket that's in better shape than any other I've found. Originally painted black, someone painted gold overtop and I'm stripping it so I can repaint it. Feels different that I remember my others feeling, heavier. Top unscrews and there is a solid steel rod/weight in it. Not sure where my others are at the moment. I believe I have two somewhere. Fins bent or missing on both.
As map symbols go, the knife handle...is Infantry Batallion Friendly Unit. Don't know...
